Role’s Objective
We are looking for a Director of Crypto Operations to oversee the company’s day-to-day crypto asset management, risk monitoring, and security operations across multiple custodians, platforms, and exchanges. This role ensures accuracy, compliance, and operational continuity in all digital asset activities — including loan payouts, collateral management, and reporting. Key Responsibilities
- Crypto Operations
- Oversee daily price, risk monitoring, and liquidity management across BTC, ETH, Stablecoin, and other supported assets
- Establish controls, approve, and reconcile daily withdrawals and loan payouts
- Work closely with the Loan Operations team on loan repayments and ensure accurate tracking in the LMS and accounting systems
- Support end-of-month financial reporting, ensuring accurate asset valuations and reconciliations
- Oversee daily price, risk monitoring, and liquidity management across BTC, ETH, Stablecoin, and other supported assets
- Custody Management
- Manage institutional wallets, cold storage, key material, and redundancies for operational durability
- Implement and monitor Fireblocks policies, features, and user access rights
- Oversee contingency plans, backup, and disaster recovery readiness with Coincover
- Maintain oversight of exchange accounts and ensure multi-layer security alignment

- Partnerships and Counterparty Oversight
- Oversee vendor relationships for crypto infrastructure including wallet providers, AML screening, and travel rule integrations
- Work with Asset Management to monitor exposure and performance on CeFi and Defi platforms
- Participate in external relationship discussions with custodians, capital providers, and investment partners

- Systems Testing and Troubleshooting
- Coordinate new platform feature testing with Product and Engineering teams
- Lead platform troubleshooting and issue escalation across internal and third-party systems

- Financial & Operational Support
- Collaborate with the finance team on audit support, data validation, and internal control documentation
- Work closely with Loan Operations and Accounting for daily loan payout process and execution

Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in crypto operations or wallet management within a financial or fintech environment
- Familiarity with institutional wallet providers and digital asset custody frameworks
- Strong understanding of blockchain transactions, wallet security, and exchange operations
- Knowledge of DeFi platforms and on-chain analytics tools (Lido, Aave,Mempool.space and Etherscan.io)
- Security Minded and demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets and data reconciliation skills
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
Preferred Candidate Experience
- Experience with SOC 1/SOC 2 controls, crypto accounting, or risk reporting.
- Prior exposure to audit and compliance procedures in fintech or crypto lending environments..
- Titles and Certifications a plus, including CPA, CBP, CEE, CCE
- Strong cross-functional collaboration abilities — especially with engineering, finance, and legal.

Location/Type This is a remote, full-time position reporting to the Chief Financial Officer
Salary Range $120,000 – $140,000, depending on experience.
